Top Ten Fat Burning Foods

Everyone wants to shed those unwanted pounds, reduce that belly fat, and tighten those buns. Unfortunately, many go about it the wrong way, by killing themselves with a crash exercise program while starving themselves to death. The bottom line: Diets don't work, but living the right diet does. The difference: "diets," as in "being on a diet" is a crash program of self-abstinence, which leaves the body craving and the dieter miserable. The secret to weight loss is to the right foods, foods which burn fat. Yes, certain foods actually burn fat! So here is my list of the top ten fat burning foods:

   1. Green tea. Green tea contains antioxidants that help burn fat.

   2. Oatmeal. Oatmeal is high in fiber. Fiber cleans the digestive system; it is  filling; and because it's slow to digest, it burns fat.

   3.  Citrus fruits such as oranges, grapefruit, and lemons. Citrus fruits are high in vitamin C, which is good for the immune system and helps burn fat.

   4.  Berries. Berries are high in antioxidants. Add them to your oatmeal instead of sugar.

   5. Cold water fish, such as salmon and tuna, which contain omega 3-fatty acids, which are good for the heart. Ideally this type of fish should be consumed at least three times a week. Moreover, the high protein content is needed to build strong muscles, which, in turn, burns fat.

  6. Lean meats, such as open-range turkey and chicken.

  7. Low-fat dairy products, such as low-fat or fat-free milk. Milk is high in calcium, which is not only need for strong bones, but breaks down fat.

  8. Olive oil. Olive oil is high in monounsaturated fats, which is a good kind of fat. Replace butter and margarine with extra virgin olive oil. Also use it as dressing on your salads, as it is a great way to burn fat.

  9.  Garlic. Not only is garlic a great seasoner, but it flushes fats from the body.

10.  Beans. Beans are high in protein, fiber, and iron, and beans aid in digestion.

This list is by no means comprehensive, as there are other healthy fat burning foods as well, such as garlic and onions, brocolli, brown rice, whole wheat grain bread, yogert, apples, raw almonds, to name a few.

As they say: "You are what you eat," so eat healthy!

interesting you'd post, Al. there are many things that help one to lose weight. it's a mental struggle as well as physical. sex can do so much for the body- endorphin release changes everything. the happiness neurotransmitters released in our minds as we eat and do cocaine are the same as when we have sex.
sex can burn hundreds of calories an hour. Moreso, sex removes STRESS- which is most of the reason people have those unwanted pounds. Imagine your life today without the psychological burden of all the anxiety accompanying your daily schedule- what a better place to free yourself than in the bedroom?

for me, masturbation is a HUGE release. currently I don't have any prospective partners, but this doesn't mean I should be weighed down by loneliness. Stress causes people to overeat, and it causes them to eat comfort foods. If you can find outlets for stress in your life, you'll see that your ability to change your eating habits improves drastically.
